Wage Range: The hourly wage for this role is typically $17.40-$27.00 per hour and represents a range across all of PrairieCoast’s BC and Alberta locations. It is influenced by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant training, and work location.

As a Seasonal Parts Support / Advisor you will:

Perform tasks as assigned in the branch. This position will be given direction or guidance from the Operational Manager.

Job duties:

  • Find, order and sell parts to customers
  • Find and order parts for shop technicians
  • Assist customers via phone, email, in person and cash processes for parts invoicing
  • Clean up the workshop facilities, washrooms and sweeping
  • Cardboard and garbage removal
  • Put parts stock orders away
  • Answer phones as needed
  • Forklift operation
  • Assist Service Technicians as needed
  • Help customers load and unload equipment
  • Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Parts counter sales experience is an asset.
  • John Deere experience is an asset.
  • Basic parts and machinery knowledge
  • Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Forklift license preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License
