As a Senior Accountant you will:

Oversee all the Inventory Accounting, Sales Processing and Financing. You will be responsible for reporting and analyzing complex sales and finance contracts as well as inventory management. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the General Manager, completing special projects. This position will work closely with the rest of the Accounting team to ensure efficiency and accuracy within the department. This is a Supervisory/Management role and you will have direct reports within the Accounting Department.

Some of your job duties will include:

  • Supervising direct reports;
  • Managing inventory reconciliations and internal audits;
  • Managing Bonus Programs and other incentives;
  • Managing allowance account, write-downs and write-offs as appropriate;
  • Analyzing sales contracts and provide advice to managers;
  • Ensuring timely receipting of inventory;
  • Providing support for Year-End Audit;
  • Providing support for CRM software;
  • Processing sales and finance contracts when appropriate;
  • Overview of Sales Commissions;
  • Reviewing and Managing Credit Limits;
  • Other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • CPA Designation;
  • Minimum 5 years working in an accounting and/or finance role;
  • Supervisory experience;
  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization, across multiple locations;
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently;
  • High level of critical thinking and analytical skills and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts;
  • Able to work well under pressure, prioritize workload and meet deadlines;
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills;
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
